Baby it's cold outside!
First - I want to say thanks to all of you for caring about us. Garrison is doing well. He is almost past his sickness and with the prescription to continue the steroid treatment he should (knock on wood) remain fine. Thank you for all of your well wishes.
Second - I am loving the snow here! There is so much! This is what I imagine a real Buffalo winter is like. So much for global warming! It has been coming down and is beautiful. I feel so much more comfortable driving than I used to. I really practice slipping just to make sure I can regain control!
Speaking of the cold I must say thanks to my husband for his fabulous gift giving at Christmas time.
Three of his gifts which I am constantly using:
1) My rockin' white snow boots, that I really wear EVERYWHERE
2) My electric blanket that stays plugged in by the TV (I may be using this during the summer too. I love being warm, snuggling by the TV)
3) Flannel penguin sheets
The cold really isn't so bad if you are well equipped right?
Third - V-day. We had a great time down town on Tuesday. It was windy and snowy, but we took the train to the theatre. It was our first time in Shea's Theatre. It is really beautiful. We need to get there more often.
After we moved our seats, Matt's knees were in his throat, we really enjoyed the concert. We had our own "revelations" about modern dance, ballroom and ballet. It was wonderful being together!
And lastly Matt came home last night with a Valentine for each of us.
A big pink bear for Q, a cool helicopter with blocks for G and flowers for me... awwwe.
And, the day wouldn't be complete without a fabulously romantic card from my love!
