The master plan

Well, it's been a long Sunday. It has blended into Saturday. I was up all night with G. He had a runny nose yesterday and when he gets a cold it all begins...

We went into the ER this morning because yet again, the cold hits on the weekend and the doctors office is closed. The poor kid CANNOT breathe! The cold goes right to his chest and his airways close off.

I realize the whole master plan of the ER is make the visit painful so the consumer won't go there first. They want us to go to our doctor first. I agree, completely. But, on the weekend there should be a change to the plan for those that HAVE to go there for treatment.

Needless to say we were not pleased with our ER doctor AND our visit. We'd rather forget things like his temp reading via rectal thermometer, and his Xray, I heard him screaming bloody murder down the hall, and our lovely nurse that evoked crying even at sight. We'd rather forget our awful doctor that blamed his absence on the radiology department. Hmmmm, the radiologist showed Matt the Xray after he'd done it.

But, the master plan worked... we never want to go there again!

On the upside. The breathing specialist that gave Garrison his breathing treatment was great. The treatment opened his airway even though it was still full of junk.

What do you do when the medicine wears off though? Well, you call a good friend and ask her to give you her medicine!!! Thanks Amy, you are a lifesaver!

I will call the doctor in the morning and tell her we need a nebulizer of our own.

In the mean time I'll use my friend's, with her medicine to keep my son from melting into my couch from the inability to move his little body.

Ug, it's hard seeing your kids hurt.

**The wedding went well. This couple was actually in love so I got some good photos, despite the darkness of the night!

**Saturday Matt and I went out to dinner for his birthday. It was nice!

**Our tile is DONE! Now we are ready to grout it! I put some shelves up. Can't wait to get a new front door.

**We had a guy come and evaluate a bunch of stuff to give us some quotes. Can't wait to hear back from him.

**Watched a DVD/home video sent to us by Uncle Ben today... LOVED it! We watched it as a fam!!! Send more!!! We are excited to see our families in July when we go out to UT.
