New Life
I went to visit Laura's new little baby tonight. New life.
I am feeling better, finally, recovered, back to normal. New life.
We made an offer, received a counter offer and are drawing up papers to buy this house. New life.
We have torn our bathroom apart and are putting back together already. New life.
It feels good to be back among the living. We are gung-ho on this remodeling thing!!! Once you start I guess it's hard to stop. Despite me not feeling well last night we went to Lowe's and shopped around for a kitchen, bathrooms and other odds and ends. We have an appointment in March to plan out a new kitchen. In the mean time we are starting with the half bath. It was completely torn apart today. I thought Matt had gone to work, but when I came home from grocery shopping he was there!!! We both have one track minds. We just got started!!! It's exciting to see changes already, for the better in this place!
I talked to my good friend Jenn C. today. Love you girl! I am going to UT by myself in May. I was initially going to attend CKU (for those who aren't 'in the know' about scrap stuff it's a big convention where you take classes and a bunch of other cooky scrap stuff) with her and some other girlfriends. Well, plans have changed and we are going to get a condo instead and have a big sleepover/scrapfest with even more girlfriends. I'm SOOOO excited! Love these girls. Love that we are still friends, love that we still want to be together, love that we are going to giggle our guts out! I can't wait, and oh, the shopping that will occur! It will be so much fun. I love each of you, you know who you are, and I am touched that you would set time aside for little ol' me! We are going to have so much fun!
I have to give a shout out to my brother Damon... congrats on selling your house so quickly! I hope you find something just as quickly when you go out to Minnesota! Love you! I am so happy for you!
Also, last night was little G's first night sleeping out of his crib. He did really well on the mattress. We may move him to it permanently. He was a little sneaky today during nap time and snuck out, but for the most part he stays put!
