Here is my son...
who has fallen asleep on the step!
What a crack up! He fell asleep while playing with his DoodlePro, have I mentioned how much he loves that thing?
My mom has started a new business. HERE is her website! Hooray for mom! I am proud to say that I helped/did the writing for her. It gives me the chills to hear her partner speaking them. If you know anyone in UT... that is getting married... let them know of "Under a Tuscan Moon".
Now that I've plugged for her I just have to say that this is a great fit for my mom. She has put a ton into this and it has really worked out. She is such an artist and this is a great outlet for that. She, herself has created, built and painted the walls of Tuscany, the big tree that has a canopy of leaves over it, and the cobblestone pathways. I really had no idea how insanely cool and detalied it all is. I'm amazed.
Just to clarify on the poetry books. They were not one of those gifts you buy your spouse... for yourself!!! Matt is reading them, he is really interested in reading the classics. In fact he bought himself three Shakespere books and has finished one already... Macbeth. I just decided... after the fact... that I would like to read the poetry too!
We have had crazy warm weather here. It was so nice running yesterday morning with a warm face. It's usually frozen! It got up to about 60! I was driving with the windows down. The sun was beautifully bright! It made for such a happy day!
We went and bought decorations for Q's birthday party. She turns 3 next Friday. She has been telling me she wants an 'Ariel cake'. Okay! I'll see if I can whip that up! I thought at the very least she would choose princess Aurora. That has been her favorite. She chose to have an Ariel birthday, not a princess birthday! Picky, picky! It will be fun and she is so looking forward to her party!
Last night Q randomly asked to play with the polish. We painted toenails... both Q & G's. I also have some old lipstick with all of my polish and Q wanted to put some on. I let her. She looked in the mirror and said, "Look I'm a mommy!" So funny! G sure loved getting his toenails painted. He was excited!
