Happy Friday!
I am in a scrappin groove. Not that I'm necessarily doing anything fantastic, but I've got an itch to play catch up and get going on old photos. I once read that it's tough to scrap old photos once you get a new camera... true! But, I'm gonna do it! It's actually nice to not have any pressure, to just play and push through photos, it's resulted in pages I really like!
Tonight I am heading out to a "party". Love that they call them this! So deceiving really! It's a Stampin' Up "party" though, so I'll go! I like stamps! PLUS, I LOVE to be with my friends!
Tomorrow I am taking a cake decorating class from my famous friend Mindy! I had NO idea she was such a professional cake decorator! I'm excited to learn some skills!
My sister comes out a week from today!!!!! WEEEEEEEEE!
Here is a peek at some pages...
Journaling:
Seven boys carrying their father to his final resting place… carry on.
A family with an unexpected loss… carry on.
A name that was given, passed on, that will continue… carry on.
Memories, lack of understanding, forgiveness, love…Bob will carry on.
I was looking through pictures the other day and when I saw this one, with my six inlaws and husband, I saw a legacy that goes on through them, given by both Bob and Helen. That McAfee name goes on, quite strongly I might add, through these seven men! Whether we have come to terms with the loss or not, Bob lives on, he is alive every day in what he has left.
PS - Love you Helen!
