Going Backwards
I'll start where I am today and go backwards! I can't believe it's almost been a week since I've posted!
TODAY
* Got this HUGE box of stuff from the Opel's. All SCRAP stuff they don't need anymore. They must have obscene amounts of supply because I got a TON of stuff! I can use most/all of it too! There are a few papers in there I don't see myself using... actually... maybe for cards or something. Anyway, love you two! Thanks for the gift! Really, I can't say 'thanks' enough!
*Talked to my sister. Love her. We both seem to be going through the same sorts of things, just in different ways. Motherhood. What a challenge, what a blessing! Love you Cand. Oh, I also got a package in the mail from my sis! Can't wait to see what it is!
*NEED to get going on my Christmas cards. I usually have them made and out the first week in December. This year I'm hoping to have them out before December is over! Speaking of Christmas cards, Allison, if you read this I didn't really receive your card! It came all mangled. I can't even open it! I think I can get the photo out, but it's pretty much fried! It came in a white envelope with a note from the post office saying 'sorry for the inconvenience'! Merry Christmas!
*Tonight we are gathering at the church to make sock puppets for some children's charity... I think. I'm excited to go... not excited to leave. I know tonight will be the last night Jen is here. That means I have to say goodbye. I don't like feeling sad. I don't like saying goodbye. What a good friend she has been. I enjoy her company and am so glad our paths crossed. She has given me a gift, one of knowledge and friendship, and I am forever grateful for that.
*Monday night we four musketeers went and saw Pride and Prejudice. It was a good show. I love being with my pals. It was so a girl movie and we had fun being together. The only one's in the theatre allowed us to be a bit goofy too! I sort of felt like I was 14!!!
*Saturday we had a little celebration for my friend Amy! Happy birthday again! I have your necklace! We ate at Panera Bread Company. Yum! We surprised her. Good times. I promised these guys when I took this photo in June that I wouldn't put it on my BLOG. I didn't. Now I am!
*Friday went well. What a hectic night! Matt was 'Santa' for our Christmas party and I was in two numbers. It made for some craziness juggling the kids and changing and all. By the time it was over we were exhausted. It all went well. Glad we participated. It was fun seeing Matt all dressed up. It was fun seeing those children awed by his presence. It was hilarious that his own children didn't want to sit on his lap or touch him! I did get a smooch on the cheek from him and Q thought that was pretty cool!
That's it for now. I'm off to scrap... Hooray!
