Playing catch up part 2!
*Monday*
We shopped till we dropped... and the kids needed to nap! We hit Target for clothes, Home Depot for wood and metal, then Joann's for craft essentials! After some lunch we put the kiddies down and got to work!
We made shaker cards, magnets, a candle craft and some vinyl lettering crafts. I made some magnet boards and still have more vinyl boards to do. I did go beyond and started creating these...
We had loads of fun!!! I am excited to keep going even though my buddy is gone!
Monday night we got our kids dressed up and we went out trick or treating...
Q LOVED it! She was so excited to get all dressed up again. We went to our next door neighbors first and they "ooed and awwed" over the kids. I thought Q might be finished after we went to her little friend's houses. Wrong! She kept saying "lets go do that again, and we go to the door and we don't go in, but we say trick or treat"! Little G was even saying trick or treat. The fun didn't end there, Q helped me give out candy and thought that was almost just as fun. It was a good and fun Halloween. They get better and better each year.
*Tuesday*
Matt decided to take the day off. We thought Joey (Lynette's hubby) would be joining us. He was planning on arriving around 2pm. We planned to go to the falls when he arrived. So, that morning we did my family pictures, in the rain! They turned out good. Now I need to start on Christmas cards! Thanks Lynette for doing them, I appreciate it! I'll post those later.
We crafted while we waited for Joey to arrive. We waited until 1am! Poor guy. He got on three planes and all three had mechanical problems. Now that would make me cuss! He was sitting on a plane for 4 HOURS! It was awful for him! Even more awful is they had to turn around and leave the next morning.
It was good to visit with him when he finally arrived. We love the Watts' they are good friends.
*Wednesday*
Matt went in late and first thing we did was go to take Lynette's family photos. I was the photographer this time! She has been trying to get good photos, but has been struggling. I'm glad I could take them of her and hope she likes them. Again, I'll post those later.
After burning a disc for them and getting them packed they were all off, just like that. I was bummed, I always am. It's hard to see people you love so much leave! We do keep in close contact and for that I am grateful. That little family adds so much joy to my life!
After the Watts left the kids and I went to play group. While there I had a pow wow with a friend and we decided that Wednesday evening would be good to do their family photos. Again, I am happy to do it, I am getting more practice and I can use it! Also, I will post those in a seperate post. We came back and had dinner together! We do have great friends here and this family is a family we love to be with.
*Thursday*
Laundrey, cleaning, organizing, more laundrey, oh and a run that about killed me! This morning was killer windy! Since I was going with my partner I faced the awful winds. Man did that give me a workout. If running in the wind isn't bad enough just add two kids in a jog stroller, that ought to do it!
I did my first layout as a guest designer at Luv2Scrapbook. Here it is...
I mentioned as I posted this that it is all about who you know! I went back and changed it because it sounded wrong. I am grateful to my good pal Susan for letting me be a guest designer. And the "who you know" part comes because I don't know if I'd get opportunities like this based on merit alone! So, for me it's all about who I know and I'm glad to know Susan (for other reasons too) right now! I love this new line of KI stuff and it is so fun playing with it, especially since I didn't have to buy it!!!
More talks on this house that we love. More waiting. A few more questions.
Last night I got to chat with some girlfriends online. I love that!

Weeeehw, this is such a LONG post!
I got to talk with a good friend Jen today. Love her! She is hooking me up with some new Heidi Swapp kits that are such a good buy right now! Thanks Jen. Loved chatting with her this morning!
Okay, I am pretty much current! I tell you it is way easier to do this more frequently rather than wait!
