little bits for today
*I am loving hot chocolate for breakfast in the mornings. Can't get enough! It warms me right up.
*Q now says "hasta la wiggi, don't bite the bugs". She got it from Matt, just once I might add, saying "hasta lauigi, don't get any on ya". Neither phrase makes sense, but Q is attached to this and it cracks her up each and every time she says it!
*My girl may still be in diapers, but she knows all of the right answers in nursery!!! Bright and in diapers... I'm so proud!
*Susan made my day yesterday! I'm going to be a guest designer at Luv2scrapbook. Check it out if you haven't already... great site! I'm so happy!!! She made my day so bright yesterday!
*I got my first migraine headache EVER Monday night. I never want another one! It was quite painful!
*This weekend I learned how to "knot" in jewelry making. It's a new skill and I finished a strand of pearls.
*To enter or not to enter, I'm still on the fence. I've never had a layout published (my first published item comes out in Scrapbooking Trends in Dec) and am sort of convinced winners are already chosen for the CK Hall of Fame contest. I know my chance is one in a million, actually one in a couple thousand. Do I still enter for the "challenge"? I sort of feel it more of a stress than anything and it's a little disheartening since all I can think about is how much I suck! I've grown a bunch in this past year of scrapping, but I don't know that I'm good enough, and if I can't keep a good perspective about it, than maybe I really shouldn't enter.
*Q decided to be a princess, after much deliberation and a bunch of new ideas!
*Tonight I am finally going to work on my sewing project. It's been a while since I've pulled it out!
*We are going to set up some appointments to look at houses. I don't think we'll end up buying this house. Our landlord/owner decided on his asking price and I think he is a bit off his rocker! We'll still have to wait and see.
